Riviere Designed by SCDA Architects

Riviere is an exquisite piece of architecture by a renowned architect, John Richard Flowers, SCDA Architects. In 2021 the award winning architect won the Venice Architecture Prize for his design of The Courtyard at Marina d’Adda. He subsequently worked on projects such as the Vista La Perciazha (VA Waterfront) in Marbella and the Grand Canal in Venice. A Riviere was designed to combine traditional brickwork with modern materials, using cantilever archways to support its stonework. It is one of few buildings from the Venice architecture period that is still standing in full operation, albeit a bit refurbished. The exterior features brickwork around the main entrance, which is surrounded by a decorative paving path and a statue of the Virgin Mary.
